Who knew making the Crock Pot Triple Chocolate Mess ‘cake’ would be so easy?
I mean, seriously. Dump all the ingredients for the Crock Pot Triple Chocolate Mess ‘cake’ into the crock pot, wait 4 – 5 hours and voila! You just made an easy cake with hardly any work involved! I really like baking, but one of my downfalls is that I generally bake for a reason, like a holiday, birthday, or for a charity event. But you know what that does to Mel and my kids? Mel always says, “Why can’t you just bake me something?!” So today, I decided to go ahead and specifically make something for my family.
Now, don’t laugh. I received probably 200 cookbooks from some very close friends of mine. I know….that is a lot of cookbooks. One of the thinks I have been doing is taking pictures of the recipes I want to make and then donating the books to charity. That way, I have the recipe, but someone else an also benefit from the cookbook.
This recipe, the Crock Pot Triple Chocolate Mess ‘cake’ was actually just a piece of paper folder in half in one of the cookbooks, so I don’t know who the original author is. Whoever came up with this recipe is brilliant though. It is delicious. It reminds me of one of those hot brownies with ice cream they serve in restaurants. It is that good.
Mel and my kids were so surprised I just made this out of nowhere and to make things even better, they all LOVED it. We served it with Mocha Fudge ice cream…ummmm hello…DELISH! Try it yourself!
