FlipFlop Moscato Wine – Sweet!

FlipFlop Moscato Wine – Sweet!

It’s been a rough couple of weeks so when I received the Moscato flipflop Wine to review I could not have been happier. I happened to share it with my neighbor, Melanie, up the street. And guess what? She had her own bottle of Moscato flipflop wine in her fridge – No I am not joking!

Here is how it all went down:

Me: Do you like wine?

Melanie: Yes, some kinds.

Me: I received a bottle of wine to review, it’s a white wine.

Melanie: Oh, I only like Moscato white wine.

Me: Oh my Gosh, mine is Moscato from flipflop.

Melanie: (Starts laughing) That is the only wine I drink – It is in my fridge right now!

Now, if that is not telling you people like it and use it, I don’t know what else would!

flipflop wines were made with the intention to “complement the everyday casual lifestyle.” “…to be expressive and to be well-balanced, and to be affordable for people of all economic levels.” Considering David Georges, Vintner, flipflop wines, grew up in Southern California like me, I can definitely see where he was trying to go with his wines.

I love the labels of the wine bottles.  In my last review of flipflop wines I wrote, “Before we even taste-tested the wines, the bottles are designed in a way that gives you that laid back, relaxed feeling. I love the design of the label. Whoever chose their label designs should have a pat on the back. It definitely screams laid back, yet cool, fun, yet in a relaxed sort of way. Bravo to the designer.” And I still mean it. I love their design.

Now, about the Moscato itself. It is super sweet. Super Sweet. Melanie, my neighbor likes it for that very reason. I was also impressed with the sweetness.  Not a wine connoisseur, I don’t claim to know much about the specifics of wine, but I do find that Moscato seems to be my favorite. It is not “dry” like some wines.
