We live off a road that leads to a bunch of different neighborhoods.
Drive South (right hand side) on the road and the the speed limit is 25 MPH.
Drive North (left hand side) on the road and the speed limit is 20 MPH.
So technically, driving on the left hand side I could get a ticket for driving 25 MPH, but if I drive on the right hand side of the road no ticket for 25 MPH because that is the speed limit.
Oh, and FYI, there are no “Speed Humps”. Maybe they thought we wouldn’t notice that?
Seriously?
OMG this is hilarious!! What an oversight! So driving north is more dangerous? Are there more houses to the North? I just can’t understand that.
And it is funny about the non existent speed hump. I wonder if some road construction guy was thinking “let’s see if anyone ever notices and takes this down!”

HAHHA Annie…I know! I had to flip a “u-ie” in my street to make sure I was not seeing things!
That’s so funny! I’ve noticed that too and kinda went huh??? Take it up the the HOA – this is serious! (JK!) hahaaa 🙂
HAHAH! I think I may just mention it to them….it is definitely serious business here…don’t want to get a ticket for driving the speed limit…what is the speed limit again?? HUH?
Actually, yellow speed signs are advisory, only. They do not constitute ‘speed limits’…
Where I live, signs like this get up and then left up – sometimes for years – long after the work/defect/etc has been done…
Really? I had no idea – Back to Drivers Ed for me!
..still…even if there are no tickets involved it is crazy…I had to take a double take lol
