It’s that time of year again! The Sugar Plum Cook Off will be held on Saturday December 17th at the Shrine Club in Monroe.

This year’s Sugar Plum Cook Off is presented by WIXE 1190 and all proceeds will benefit HomeTown Heroes!

You don’t have to be a professional baker to enter, just bring all your baked cakes, cookies, and desserts to the Monroe Shrine Club between 8 am – 9 am on December 20th. Each dessert will be judged and winners will be announced! Are you this year’s Sugar Plum Cook Off winner? You will never know until you try!

I have participated for many years. Twice I have dropped my cakes before I got there..No, seriously, I have. And I actually won one year!

After the winners are announced, the desserts will be auctioned off and ALL proceeds go to HomeTown Heroes. I cannot think of a better way to support this awesome organization! Check out the details below.
