I love have bbq’s in the Summer. There is just something about a grill, a patio, friends and family all gathered together that make Summer complete! One time for my nephews birthday we decided to go to a park to BBQ. We found the picnic area…and the BBQ…and I can tell you I was really grossed out looking at this BBQ. Clearly NO ONE had cleaned it in like….forever. GROSS! And we were expected to eat off this grill? No thanks.
We ended up cleaning the grill until it was spotless. At the time, it got me thinking, “Do we clean our grill every time we eat?” And the answer to that question is, yes, we do. However, “according to a recent Procter & Gamble (P&G) survey, only 25 percent of consumers clean their grills and only 20 percent of consumers clean their outdoor furniture. Yet keeping them cleaned can help them last longer.”
Only 25% clean their grills? And only 20% clean their outdoor furniture? Well, while we do clean our grill every time we cook out, I will admit…I don’t remember the last time we cleaned our outdoor furniture…I guess I think the rain will clean it….NOT!

Maintain Your Outdoor Furniture – Keep it looking good all summer

We haven’t cleaned our grill for a few weeks and burned our ribeyes last night- it was awful!! Lesson learned- we could really use a good cleaner!

We don’t have any outdoor furniture, but my boyfriend always uses tin-foil on the grill so clean up (after each time we use it) is a breeze.
