During the Spring and Summer, we like to spend a lot of time outdoors, and one of my family’s favorite activities is jumping on the trampoline…and there is usually some sort of water or water balloon involved. Our trampoline is in an area in our backyard that gets full sun, every hour of every day. There is no shade. Thus, the water involvement on the trampoline. But, I also have to think about the direct sun my kids are getting for hours at a time.
I want them to enjoy themselves outside, but I want to protect their skin from the sun too! Recently, my nephews were over hanging out with Reece and his friend Jake, so it was the perfect time to try out some of the items we received in the Beyond Coastal Swag Bag.
Beyond Coastal Sun Care Products offer natural sun care products to protect, nourish, hydrate, and repair your skin from sun damage. When I was a kid, I never wore sunscreen…and now I can see it in my skin. I want to protect my kids from sun damage, as well as protect myself from any further sun damage.
When the boys were out jumping on the trampoline, I had them put on the Beyond Coastal Active Sunscreen. It is water resistant and blocks 97% of UVB rays (that cause sunburns). Since they are a little older, they definitely don’t want to ruin their “cool” factor with having noticeable sunscreen on, so they all told me their favorite thing about it was that it went on clear and did not feel sticky.
Betsy and her little friend were having a water balloon fight in the front yard and I slathered her with the Kids Natural Sunscreen SPF 30.
The Natural Kids SPF 30+ is perfect for young ones, with an all-natural mineral block protecting your kids from the sun’s damaging UV rays without harmful chemicals.
Our inactive ingredients aren’t just empty filler. Beyond Coastal’s Natural sunscreens nourish, repair, and hydrate your skin with aloe vera, shea butter, and vitamin C.
With the Natural Kids Sunscreen, it did not go on clear, but had a white tint to it. Although, after we rubbed it in really well, it was clear. It was perfect for Betsy because it is water resistant and if it accidentally got rubbed in her eyes (kids will be kids you know), it says it won’t sting.
I actually really liked the Beyond Coastal Lip Balm in Citrus Grove. My lips are always chapped and I found relief from my chapped lips as soon as I applied this. But what makes it even better, is that not only is it moisturizing, it also protects my lips from the sun with SPF 15.
Right now, Beyond Coastal is offering Free Shipping in the month of May for Skin Cancer Awareness Month!
