A few weeks ago I was cleaning out my ‘junk’ closet and was so frustrated I was ripping random junk out (why the heck did I need that pink purse? Did someone give it to me as a gift only to be left to be shoved in my ‘junk’ closet??) and by ‘ripping’ I mean literally yanking stuff out, twisting around, and throwing it as far as I could get it from the closet. I wanted that closet CLEAN! After an hour that closet was clean as a whistle and practically everything in it was either supposed to be in it, in the trash, or had been given away. I went to sleep a happy camper that night! And then I woke up. Right under my shoulder blade, you know, the part of your back that is impossible to reach, was so sore and stiff.
Why was I so sore? Was it all the yoga I had been doing lately? Nope, I haven’t done yoga for months. Was it the dogs pulling me on the leash? Nope, poor little doggies have been getting their exercise in the backyard. So what the heck! Oh yea….it was my frenzied twisting of my body trying to get that ‘junk’ closet cleaned out! It had to be! I immediately headed over to the drugstore and knew exactly what I was looking for….something “ThermaCare”. Nothing else would do. I have relied on ThermaCare it seems like forever to help all my aches and pains. ThermaCare is a well known, trusted brand in my house. After finding some relief from ThermaCare, a couple weeks later, out of the blue I was invited to check out the new ThermaCare Cold Wraps and ThermaCare HeatWraps!
About the new ThermaCare Cold Wraps and ThermaCare HeatWraps:
ThermaCare Cold Wraps are designed with TargetTemp Insulation Technology to deliver a constant, comfortable cold so you can wear them continuously. Giving you effective relief without the icy shock that’s often accompanied by traditional ice packs. ThermaCare Cold Wraps can be reused and refrozen for up to ten times.
ThermaCare is designed to work differently. Unlike other topical pain relievers, ThermaCare HeatWraps have patented heat cells that penetrate deep to the source of pain for long-lasting pain relief + faster healing. Therapeutic heat soothes, relaxes and unlocks tight muscles & joints for up to 16 hours of relief. While the patented heat cells send heat deep into the tissue to increase blood flow and accelerate healing.
True story! On that day I had to rush to the drug store to help my aching back, I actually picked up one of the new ThermaCare HeatWraps! It was perfect for that area on my back that I was having such a hard time reaching. I left the ThermaCare HeatWrap on all day while I worked in front of my computer and my back really did feel better. It is really hard to explain how it feels, but you know those hot stone massages you hear about so often? Well, I have never had one, but I would guess, this felt a lot like that. There was a little pressure on my back in certain points, and it was warm (not too hot) and it just seemed to relax that muscles that were screaming at me. I would definitely purchase another ThermaCare HeatWrap again.
