As part of the Carmex Blog Squad, I am sent Carmex products to review. This time, I was sent the Carmex Healing Cream and Carmex Healing Lotion to review. But, since I am a member of the Carmex Blog Squad I also received a limited edition Carmex hoodie! And boy has it come in handy since apparently Punxsutawney Phil the Groundhog “punked” us into believing Spring would come early this year!
I was introduced to Carmex years ago when I was visiting my Uncle and he offered me his Original Carmex Lip Balm because my lips were so chapped. I have been a Carmex addict ever since! When you hear “Carmex” you immediately think of a remedy to help chapped lips! But they are not just for chapped lips anymore!
This LONG winter has been killing my skin. It is dry as a bone…I sometimes feel like I am a snake shedding a new skin. Ugh. However, I have found using Carmex Healing Lotion on a daily basis really helps with the amount of skin shedding I do! HA!
Carmex Healing Lotion
Use as your daily moisturizer – It provides your skin with protection with ultra concentrated Aloe & Vitamin E. This is a wonderful moisturizer! I definitely saw my snake skin (dry skin) slowly disappearing as I was using this daily! It is not greasy at all and has just a clean scent. Nothing to frilly. Just clean.
Carmex Healing Cream
OK dry skin – MOVE OVER there is a new Cream in town. Love, Love, Love this stuff! Outside when it is cold my hands are the first thing to start looking bad, so I keep this tube in my purse and use it whenever I see my hands getting dry! Plus, it is also good for areas of your body that tend to be the driest; elbows, hands, feet, knees! Carmex Healing Cream also “mimics your skin’s natural lipid layer to maximize healing, while petrolatum and allantoin soften tough skin and aid in moisturization.”
“Carmex created Carmex Skin Care as a solution to help heal, soothe, and moisturize your dry skin. Carmex skin care has a non-greasy feel, quality ingredients, and is effective. Suggested Retail price is for a Full Size Tube is $5.99 and smaller tube is .99. They are currently available at Walgreens, CVS, and Walmart!”
I would definitely recommend the Carmex Healing Lotion or Cream, but pssst…the Cream is my favorite!
One lucky reader will win a a set of Carmex Cream and Lotion!
