As a mom of two active kids who happen to be watching what they eat, I was thrilled to review DOLE No Sugar Added Fruit Bowls. I was happy to learn not only are DOLE No Sugar Added Fruit Bowls gluten free, they are also GMO free and have BPA free packaging. Now that is what I am talking about.
DOLE No Sugar Added Fruit Bowls are sweetened with monk fruit concentrate – with NO added sugar and NO artificial sweeteners. Monk fruit concentrate is 150 times sweeter than sugar and has fewer calories.
I have always like DOLE fruit bowls because I add them to my daughter’s school lunch because not only will she eat them at school, they are mess free in the bowl. My son, on the other hand, likes to eat them as an afternoon snack. Because they are package in grab and go bowls, it makes them a convenient anytime snack.
DOLE No Sugar Added Fruit Bowls come in two varieties:
- Diced Peaches
- Mandarin Oranges
My kids both favored the Mandarin Orange variety, but Mandarin oranges have always been their favorite. That’s OK…I will take the peach for myself ;-).
